Listen
Every book,
out loud.
Some of us read with our ears. Every book page now reads itself to you in a narrator voice, with each word lighting up as it goes. Full downloadable audiobooks are being recorded too.
The audiobooks
Recording board.
Each book gets a full recording, free to stream and download. This board shows where each one is.
Ways to listen
Pick whatever works for you.
1 · Right here
On any book page, tap Listen. A narrator voice reads the book while each word lights up, so your eyes and ears travel together. Pause anywhere, change the speed, and it remembers where you stopped. Prefer your own device's voice? Switch it in the reader bar.
Try it on a short one2 · ElevenReader app
ElevenReader is a free app that reads anything out loud. Download a book's EPUB or PDF here, then in the app tap + and choose Upload a file. Or choose Paste a link and paste the book's page.
3 · An audiobook player
When the full audiobooks land, they will download as files you keep. These free players are made for that.

Nicer device voices
A tip for your phone.
If you use your device's own voice, you can make it sound a lot better for free.
Tip for nicer voices: on iPhone and Mac, open Settings, then Accessibility, then Spoken Content, and download an Enhanced or Premium voice. On Android, open Text to speech in Settings and install a high quality voice.
The Listening Room
The UC Soundtrack.
Songs written alongside the books, by ear, for the days a song is exactly enough. One Channel is both a book and a song.
The soundtrack is moving to its new home on YouTube. When it lands, it will play right here.
